Victory Christian Academy is truly blessed to have Mrs. Vita Stimpson as our 4th grade teacher. She has a long history with Victory. As a matter of fact, her oldest daughter was in Victory's first graduating class in 1985.
Vita grew up in St. Louis. She accepted the Lord at the age of eight. Vita married soon after high school and she and her husband, John, had five children. She started homeschooling her children and tutoring other students, then went on to teach Bible and P.E. part time before accepting a full time teaching position at Victory. Currently, Vita is in her 15th year of full time teaching.
Vita continues to attend the fellowship at the Bible Chapel where she and her husband attended together. After 40 years of marriage, her husband went home to be with the Lord. Still, Vita says she feels "blessed beyond what I deserve having five grown children, three amazing daughter-in-laws, and a super hero of a son-in-law." She also says she has "the best sister in the world."
Some of the things Vita loves most are horses, Andrew Lloyd Weber productions (particularly, Phantom of the Opera), American Idol, and Josh Groban music.
